Tino Santoni
Tino Santoni (actually Clemente Santoni ; born January 9, 1913 in Rome , † unknown) was an Italian cameraman .
Santoni initially studied painting, but then devoted himself to the film business, where he worked as a technical assistant for light, camera assistant and light master in the 1930s. As the responsible image designer, he photographed numerous films with artistic aspirations, but also brought his fresh, sun-kissed images to commercial productions. The delicate color scheme and the high-contrast rendering of the presentations were praised. In 1974 he ended his active career. Outstanding examples from around 100 films for his sensitive photography are Es ist Frühling (1949), Wilder Sommer (1959) and The Girl with the Light Baggage (1961).
