action

Alamo and Mike roam the west of America; to make ends meet, they work as traveling artists, actors and magicians. During a performance for an Indian tribe, they fail to make the chief's wife appear again, whom they could win over for a trick. On the run from the tribe, they come to Paradise City, where they are mistaken for the replacement of the sheriff who has just been shot and whom the citizens await.

Mike and Alamo slip into the roles that are forced on them - also because of the sheriff's two daughters, Alice and Sara. Again and again they fail in trying to clear up the misunderstanding; when the bandit boss threatening the city lets himself be put off by their magic tricks because he trusts an alleged hair restorer, they seem to be successful. After further involvement, however, they find themselves gagged and bound to the gallows. Another trick saves them; and now that they could finish off the bandits, Alamo and Mike continue their wanderings through the west with Alice and Sara.

criticism

Pietro Bianco ruled in Il Giorno short: "Crude Fluctuating without specifics, to forget." .

Remarks

The film is a parody of Howard Hawks ' Rio Bravo , whose Italian title is Un dollaro d'onore .
