Leonora Ruffo

Leonora Ruffo (born January 13, 1935 in Rome , † May 28, 2007 there ; actually Eleonora Ruffo ) was an Italian film actress .

Life

Ruffo was discovered by director Pietro Francisci for his film Le meravigliose avventure di Guerrin Meschino (1951). She appeared in several of her mentor's films in the years to come. In her second film ( Gli amanti die Ravello (1952), by Luigi Capuano ) she was enigmatically portrayed as Bruna Falchi .

Federico Fellini gave Ruffo a role in I Vitelloni - The Idlers (1953); it remained her greatest success, also because she concentrated on entertainment films until the end of her career in 1969. She was seen alongside muscled mythical heroes (played by Mark Forest , Gordon Scott and Reg Park ) in the sandal films The Revenge of Hercules , Maciste's greatest adventure and vampire against Heracles , in a spacesuit in the space cruiser Hydra - duel in space and as beleaguered Beautiful in spaghetti westerns invitation to dance of death .

Even during her active time, Ruffo was able to keep her private side away from the headlines.
