Maciste 's greatest adventure (original title: Maciste contro il vampiro ) is an Italian mythological adventure film with horror elements , which Giacomo Gentilomo directed in 1961. It was first performed in Germany on August 14, 1964.
content
After rescuing the child Ciro from a sea monster, Maciste returns to his home village and finds it attacked by Arab pirates; his mother dies in his arms and his fiancée Guja has been kidnapped along with the other girls in the village. Maciste sets out to seek revenge and arrives in the land of Salmanak owned by Sultan Omar, who, however, is under the knot of a vampire, Kobrak, whose victims are supposed to deliver blood for his unwilling zombie slaves. Together with the king of the realm of the underworld, Kurtick, the strong hero can defeat the vampire, although he even slips into his skin and Maciste has to fight against himself and let the good come back to the government.
