Rudi Agte

Rudolf "Rudi" Agte (born September 11, 1891 ; † May 18, 1971 ) was a German football player , trainer and official at Hamburger SV .

Career

Rudi Agte played as a defender for SC Germania from 1887 before the First World War and switched to Hamburger FC 1888 in 1914 , so he was one after the other for these two predecessors of today's Hamburg sports club. In the early 1920s, Agte was the captain and at times player- coach of his team. In 1923 he won the German championship as an active player with Hamburger SV, but was only used occasionally. For the second German Championship led Agte Hamburg in 1928 in a multi-functional as a coach, team manager and league committee chairman.
