Mimmo Poli ( Domenico Poli ; born June 1, 1922 in Rome , † April 4, 1986 ?) Was an Italian actor .

Life

Poli was one of the most extensive filmographers in the Italian film industry. His equally extensive appearance, which mostly portrayed bartenders, craftsmen or villagers with balding head and large eyes on his round face, can be identified in over 220 films between 1951 and 1984; often he only played small roles that were not mentioned in the actor lists. However, especially at the beginning of his career, he made over 20 films with Totò and with directors such as Mario Monicelli , Vittorio de Sica and Mauro Bolognini . There was a special bond with Federico Fellini , who cast him in almost all of his films.
