Sheriff Wild Bill Danders has done his job as an excellent shooter in Springfield and now wants to retire from his position. His wife Nora and his child are enough reasons for him. However, when his deputy Jim is shot dead by the notorious bandit Colorado Charlie and his gang, he changes his mind; When the gangsters track down his retreat and threaten his small family, he puts his star back on and settles the accounts with the criminals.
