Brunella Bovo

Brunella Bovo (born March 4, 1932 in Padua , † February 21, 2017 in Rome ) was an Italian actress .

Life

Brunella Bovo serves as an almost classic example of a career for an actress who came off the streets and, if not for more than a few years, was able to pursue her career. Her dream seemed to end early (after an early appearance in Ho sognato il paradiso 1949) when she was screened out in the pre-selection for acting courses at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia ; But she was not discouraged and spoke to Vittorio De Sica , who was looking for a leading actress for his new Zavattini film. The appearance of the good girl of simple origin, with a melancholy look from expressive eyes convinced the director, who gave her the role of the clumsy girl in The Miracle of Milan . After working for Federico Fellini in his Lo sceicco bianco in 1952, other films with Bovo were released until 1961, but almost all of them were less interesting consumer goods. After 1961, several years followed the rest before Bovo 1965, especially in television ( Processo di Santa Teresa , Il circolo Pickwick ), or under the pseudonym Barbara Hudson in a spaghetti western was seen to private life, a few more times before their retreat.

Her sister Mariolina Bovo also worked as an actress.
