Livio Lorenzon
Livio Lorenzon (born May 6, 1923 in Trieste , † December 23, 1971 in Latisana ) was an Italian actor .
Life
After the Second World War, Lorenzon first worked in the reforestation of Carso , then as a trainer for the Allies, who had their headquarters in Trieste .
Through his work for Radio Triest , where he became one of the most famous voices, he got a film role in Ombre di Trieste , in which he operated under the name Elio Ardan . After moving to Rome, the bald-headed Lorenzon was cast as a rough villain, villain baron and tough gang boss and unpleasant contemporary in a large number of costume , sandal and spaghetti westerns - in 15 years he made over 70 films. He was rarely able to show what he was capable of as an actor in auteur films, such as “Buchhalter Stucchi” in Dino Risi's The Widower or as the gruff but humane sergeant in Mario Monicelli's Man Called It The Great War .
Lorenzon, who had always liked alcohol, died in a hospital after being treated for cirrhosis of the liver . He was the brother of the actor Gianni Solaro .
