Oberlößnitz 1942: Tischer's house is in the center of the picture

In 1920 the owner Colonel v. Gregory bought the property from Haus Sorgenfrei in the rural community of Oberlößnitz to his nephew, the Lößnitz architect Alfred Tischer . In 1933 he built a detached house for himself on what is now the neighboring property on Augustusweg 46.

When applying, Tischer wrote in the documents: “The planning deliberately takes into account the 'Alt-Sorgenfrei' property, which also belongs to me, and whose mansion must retain the dominant position it is entitled to. The building dimensions are therefore as modest as possible. The designs are also deliberately kept simple and rural ”.

The single-storey, under monument protection standing house is a typical example of the Homeland Security Architecture . It has a very high hipped roof . In the main view to the south to the street there is a three-axis, hipped roof house , in the two side views there are hipped dormers. In the left side view there is an entrance porch, in the right a small bay window , while to the south a garden exit leads to a small terrace .

A garage is attached to the rear of the building.
