The two clumsy bandits Mike and Colorado struggle through life with stagecoach robberies. When they are caught, the mayor of the town keeps them from hanging. As the alleged heir to a gold mine, he lets her steal the trust of a family in order to gain possession of the valuable land. However, Mike and Colorado help their alleged family deal with the sheriff, other gangsters, Indian attacks, and assassinations. Both will continue to see their "sisters" privately.
