Tomás Blanco

Tomás Blanco García (born November 10, 1910 in Bilbao , † July 16, 1990 in Madrid ) was a Spanish actor .

Life

Blanco had been a member of the Foreign Legion since he was 18 and was stationed in Morocco; In 1933 he made his debut in Madrid as an actor for Josefina Diaz's drama group . After the Spanish Civil War , film discovered him too, so that between 1942 and 1983 he played over 150 roles, later also for television. He continued his theater work with the Compania Membrives .

In his film roles he played mostly shady characters, including eleven in spaghetti westerns , and stood in the 1970s primarily for television programs Estudio1 and Novela front of the camera.

In 1949 Blanco received the Círculo de Escritores Cinematográficos award for best actor for his role in El santuario no se rinde .
