action

The members of the actually rival gangs of Billy Mack and Cassel team up after they were unjustly charged with the murder of three women. They are hunted by the local men, which Steve Mack, the fiancé of one of the victims, organized together with his friend Sandy Woods. The men, who do not want to end up on the gallows for a crime that has not been committed, entrench themselves with several hostages in an abandoned fort, which is then besieged by the townspeople. Meanwhile, the pretty Barbara Ferguson finds evidence that Sandy is the real culprit. When he gets into the fort, only Billy and Cassel live there. In the final duel, a cry of alarm from Cassel enables Billy to shoot Sandy.

criticism

“The banality of the story is only exceeded by the lengthy script. The direction is inadequate and the ineffective actors also contribute to lowering the quality of the film, "said Segnalazioni Cinematografiche , and the lexicon of international films noted with similar anger :" Simple-minded Eurowestern with stupid dialogues full of biblical quotations. " The Protestant film observer draws a similar conclusion : “European Western series, clumsy, unimaginative and brutal. We refuse! ” Christian Keßler was able to gain a positive aspect :“ A very mediocre Western, although the content is mildly original, it uses classic « Whodunit » elements. ”
