Life

Raho, son of an Italian father and a Bulgarian mother, graduated in philosophy , but began an acting career immediately after the end of the war. As early as 1948 he was seen in his first movie; it was not until 1961, however, that he became a frequent character actor. His tall, slim, but also slightly sinister appearance often made him portray obscure characters in genre films of all kinds, but often crime films and gialli . Occasional television appearances can be found among his over 120 roles, which he also played under a few pseudonyms. In the mid-1990s, Raho retired from active acting.
