Karl Hofstetter

Karl Hofstetter (born September 21, 1912 in Groß-Inzersdorf ; † April 4, 2007 in Traiskirchen - Möllersdorf ) was an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ), farmer and winegrower. From 1962 to 1974 he was a member of the Austrian National Council .

Hofstetter attended elementary and secondary school and then graduated from the Francisco Josephinum in Mödling . He learned the trade of a farmer and subsequently worked as a farmer and winemaker. He was politically active as chairman of the Baden district chamber of farmers, he was also chairman of the Guntramsdorf agricultural cooperative, chairman of the Baden district farmers 'council of the Lower Austrian farmers' association and chairman of the supervisory board of the Raiffeisenkasse Baden. He represented the ÖVP between December 14, 1962 and July 5, 1974 in the National Council.
