Rafael Albaicín

Rafael Albaicín (eigtl. Ignacio-Rafael García Escudero ; born June 5, 1919 in Madrid ; † September 3, 1981 ibid) was a Spanish bullfighter and actor .

Life

Albaicín enjoyed a humanistic upbringing and played the piano and violin. He spoke French and English and traveled to Holland, France and Belgium in his youth. He began his professional career as a composer and costume designer for bullfights before he got into the ring himself and achieved success as a torero from 1942 to 1948. He then turned to acting and appeared in many character roles, including numerous in spaghetti westerns .
