Sancho - death kisses you (original title: Sette magnifiche pistole ) is a spaghetti western from 1965 , directed by Romolo Guerrieri under a pseudonym. The film, also shown as Shoot faster or make your will , celebrated its German-language premiere on December 6, 1968, shortened by a quarter of an hour.

Well-mannered and reserved Timothy Benson comes to the West after completing his law degree, where he inherited a gold mine. Due to the prevailing conditions, his life quickly becomes exciting, as the area is ruled by the henchmen of the rich Mexican Rodriguez, who also has an eye on the mine and who ruthlessly kills all the people who want to work there. In Corky, Timothy finds a friend who does not allow himself to be intimidated by Rodriguez and who brings along four courageous men, Black Fox, Abel, Brett and Burt, who take care of making Timothy a western man. Soon he had enough opportunities to prove what he had learned under supervision and with the help of specialists and left numerous corpses behind. In the final fight with Rodriguez, however, he has to fight alone, only supported by his girlfriend, until finally a group of residents called together by his friends can eliminate all of Rodriguez's gang members. Timothy marries and is elected sheriff of the area.

criticism

The lexicon of international films judged: An at least partially enjoyable Western of European production. Christian Keßler classifies the film in the work of its director as one who deals with its topic in a rather non-binding and even cheerful manner. Good supporting actors and lively music make for a relaxed and easy affair that doesn't hurt anyone, but won't disappoint either.
