Antonio Siddi

Antonio Siddi (born May 16, 1923 in Sassari , † January 21, 1983 ) was an Italian athlete .

Siddi won the bronze medal in the 4 x 100 meter relay behind the US and British teams at the 1948 Olympic Games in London, together with Michele Tito , Enrico Perucconi and Carlo Monti . At the European Athletics Championships in Brussels in 1950 , he took second place with the 4 x 400 meter relay . Siddi also won the gold medal in the 200-meter run at the 1951 Mediterranean Games in Alexandria . At the Olympic Games in Helsinki in 1952 , he took part in the 400-meter run and again in the 4-by-100-meter relay, but was eliminated in both competitions in the heats.

Antonio Siddi was 1.77 m tall, had a competition weight of 73 kg and started for the CSI Brescia .
