Carlo Monti

Carlo Monti (born March 4, 1920 in Milan - † April 7, 2016 ) was an Italian sprinter .

Monti won the bronze medal in the 100 meter run at the European Athletics Championships in Oslo in 1946, behind the Briton Jack Archer and the Norwegian Haakon Tranberg . At the Olympic Games in London in 1948 , he and Michele Tito , Enrico Perucconi and Antonio Siddi won the bronze medal in the 4 x 100 meter relay behind the US and British teams.

Carlo Monti was 1.72 m tall and weighed 64 kg during his playing days. He started for the US Milano.
