The women's 4 x 100 meter relay at the 1950 European Athletics Championships was held on August 27, 1950 in the Heysel Stadium in the Belgian capital, Brussels .

Great Britain became European champions with Elspeth Hay , Jean Desforges , Dorothy Hall and June Foulds . The season from the Netherlands won the silver medal in the cast Xenia Stad-de Jong , Bertha Brouwer , Grietje de Jongh and Fanny Blankers-Koen . Bronze went to the Soviet Union ( Elene Gokieli , Sofja Malschina , Soja Duchowitsch , Evgenija Setschenowa ).
