Yvette Monginou

Yvette Monginou (married Trombetta; born May 16, 1927 in Castres , Département Tarn ) is a former French hurdler and sprinter .

At the Olympic Games in London in 1948, she came fourth over 80 m hurdles .

In 1950 she was fourth in the 4 x 100 meter relay at the European Athletics Championships in Brussels . She failed over 100 m and 80 m hurdles in the preliminary run.

At the Olympic Games in Helsinki in 1952, she reached the quarter-finals over 100 m . Neither over 80 m hurdles nor in the 4 x 100 meter relay did she get past the first lap.

In 1954 she was eliminated from the EM 1954 in Bern over 100 m, 80 m hurdles and in the 4-by-100-meter relay in the lead.

She became French champion over 80 m hurdles three times (1948, 1949, 1952) and once each over 100 m (1951) and 200 m (1953).
