The women's 4 x 100 meter relay at the 1958 European Athletics Championships was held on August 23 and 24, 1958 in the Stockholm Olympic Stadium.

The defending champions from the Soviet Union with Wera Krepkina , Linda Kepp , Nonna Poljakowa and Walentyna Maslowska became European champions . Great Britain won the silver medal in the cast of Madeleine Weston , Dorothy Hyman , Claire Dew and Carole Quinton . Bronze went to Poland ( Maria Chojnacka , Barbara Janiszewska , Celina Jesionowska , Maria Bibro).

The relay of European champions from the Soviet Union ( Wera Krepkina , Linda Kepp , Nonna Poljakowa , Walentyna Maslowska ) improved the existing EM record at these European championships twice:

  • 45.7 s - 2nd lead, August 23
  • 45.3 s - final, August 24
