Maria Musso

Maria Musso (born July 14, 1931 in Turin ) is a former Italian hurdler , sprinter , pentathlete and long jumper .

At the European Athletics Championships in Brussels in 1950 , she failed over 80 m hurdles in the preliminary run and was fifth in the 4 x 100 meter relay . In 1952 she did not get past the first round at the Olympic Games in Helsinki over 80 m hurdles.

At the EM in 1954 in Bern, she won bronze in the 4 x 100 meter relay.

In 1956, she retired from the Olympic Games in Melbourne over 100 m in the run and was fifth in the 4-by-100-meter relay .

At the EM 1958 in Stockholm she reached the semifinals over 80 m hurdles and came in fifth place in the 4 x 100 meter relay.

She was Italian pentathlon champion three times (1953, 1957, 1959), twice over 80 m hurdles (1950, 1957) and once in the long jump (1954).
