Preliminary remarks on the point values:

  • For orientation and classification of the performances, the scores achieved in 1985 according to the current rating system are also listed for comparison. There would have been some deviations in the placements afterwards. But these comparisons are only indicative, because the different standards of the time must apply as a basis.
    • Walter Meier in third and Uno Palu in second / Eef Kamerbeek in sixth and Walter Tschudi in fifth / Vaclav Becvarovsky in eighth and Hans-Dieter Möhring in seventh / Joze Brodnik in tenth and Torbjörn Lassenius in eleventh / Johann Muchitsch in twelfth and Per-Martin As thirteenth, Haarr should have swapped places.
    • After that, further shifts would have been necessary. The eighteenth Björgvin Hólm would be fourteenth / the sixteenth Jean-Marie Kling would move up to fifteen / the fourteenth Rune Persson would be sixteenth / Heinrich Staub as fifteenth would slide down to seventeenth / the seventeenth Hermund Høgheim would take eighteen
  • The information on the points converted to a newer rating system differ in the two main sources. The reason for this is probably that this conversion at todor.com was not based on the latest point table. That is why the EAA values are listed here.
