The women's 800-meter run at the 1958 European Athletics Championships was held on August 22nd and 24th, 1958 in the Stockholm Olympic Stadium.

The Soviet runners won two medals with gold and bronze. Jelisaveta Yermolajewa became European champion . She won ahead of the British Diane Leather . Bronze went to Dzidra Levicka.
