Joy Jordan
Joy Jordan ( Joy Wilhelmina Jordan, née Buckmaster; born November 13, 1935 in Farnborough , Hampshire ) is a former British middle-distance runner .
Over 800 m she was ninth at the European Athletics Championships in Stockholm in 1958 and sixth at the 1960 Olympic Games in Rome.
In 1962 she was fourth over 800 m at the European Championships in Belgrade and won bronze over 880 yards for England at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Perth .
From 1958 to 1962 she was English champion over 880 yards five times in a row.
