The women's 800-meter run at the 2016 European Athletics Championships was held from July 6th to 9th, 2016 in the Olympic Stadium in the Dutch capital, Amsterdam .
The European champion was the Ukrainian Natalija Pryschtschepa . Second place went to the French Rénelle Lamote . The Swede Lovisa Lindh won the bronze medal.
