Anna Silvander (born June 22, 1993 ) is a Swedish athlete who competes in the middle distance run .

Athletic career

In 2015 Anna Silvander contested her first international championships by participating in the European Indoor Championships in Prague . She reached the semi-finals over 800 meters. At the U23 European Championships in Tallinn , she set a new best in the final and secured fifth place. At the European Team Championships in Russia, she took eighth place for Sweden with a new best over 1500 meters. In 2016 she qualified for the European Championships in Amsterdam and reached the semi-finals there. At the European Indoor Championships 2017 in Belgrade , she was eliminated in the preliminary round.

In 2015 she became Swedish champion over 800 and 1500 meters and in 2016 champion over 1500 meters. She was also the Swedish 800 meter indoor champion in 2015 and 2016.
