Bianka Bartha-Kéri (born April 19, 1994 as Bianka Kéri ) is a Hungarian middle-distance runner who also competes in the sprint .

Athletic career

Bianka Bartha-Kéri gained her first international experience in 2011 when she was eliminated in the semifinals at the Youth World Championships near Lille in the 400-meter run with 56.97 seconds and then at the European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF) in Trabzon in 55.44 seconds took fifth place and was eliminated with the Hungarian 4 x 100 meter relay with 52.64 s in the preliminary round. The following year she reached the semi-finals at the Junior World Championships in Barcelona and was eliminated there with 54.68 seconds, while she missed the finals with the 4 x 400 meter relay in 3: 48.72 minutes. In 2013 she failed at the Junior European Championships in Rieti with 54.53 s in the first round. In 2015 she took part in the 800-meter run at the U23 European Championships in Tallinn , but was eliminated there with 2: 05.30 minutes in the lead-up. The following year she reached the semi-finals over 800 meters at the European Championships in Amsterdam and was eliminated there with 2: 03.47 minutes.

In 2017 she failed at the European Indoor Championships in Belgrade with 2: 07.71 minutes in the first round. At the end of August, she took part in the Summer Universiade in Taipei , where she finished sixth in 2: 04.00 minutes. In 2018 she again took part in the European Championships in Berlin , where she was eliminated in the semifinals with 2: 03.44 minutes.

In the years from 2014 to 2018 and 2020 , Bartha-Kérin was the Hungarian champion in the 800-meter run outdoors and in 2013, 2016 and 2017 also indoors. In 2012 and from 2014 to 2016 she also won the 400 meters and in 2012 in the 4 x 400 meter relay. In the hall she won over 400 meters in 2013, 2014 and 2016, as well as in the 4 x 400 meter relay in 2013.
