The men's 4 x 100 meter relay at the 2016 European Athletics Championships was held on July 9 and 10, 2016 in the Olympic Stadium in the Dutch capital, Amsterdam .

Great Britain became European champion with the line-up of James Dasaolu , Adam Gemili , James Ellington and Chijindu Ujah . Second place went to France ( Marvin René , Stuart Dutamby , Méba-Mickaël Zézé , Jimmy Vicaut ). Bronze went to Germany with Julian Reus , Sven Knipphals , Roy Schmidt (final) and Lucas Jakubczyk as well as Robert Hering, who was also used in the preliminary run .

The German runner, who was only used in the preliminary run, also received a bronze medal.
