The men's 4 x 100 meter relay at the European Athletics Championships in 1966 was held on September 3 and 4, 1966 in Budapest's Népstadion .

France became European champion with Marc Berger , Jocelyn Delecour , Claude Piquemal and Roger Bambuck . Second place went to the USSR with Edvīns Ozoliņš , Armin Tujakow, Boris Savchuk and Nikolai Ivanov. Bronze went to the Federal Republic of Germany ( Hans-Jürgen Felsen . Gert Metz , Dieter Enderlein , Manfred Knickenberg ).
