Barrie Kelly
Barrie Kelly ( Barrie Harrison Kelly; born August 2, 1940 in Bury ) is a former British sprinter .
In 1966 he won the European Indoor Games in Dortmund over 60 meters . At the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Kingston he was seventh over 100 yards and with the English 4-by-110-yard relay, and at the European Championships in Budapest he was sixth over 100 meters and fifth with the British team in the 4 x 100 meter relay .
At the Olympic Games in Mexico City in 1968 , he reached the quarter-finals over 100 meters and the semi- finals in the 4 x 100 meter relay .
In 1969 he was again sixth over 100 meters at the European Championships in Athens .
In 1967 he was English champion over 100 yards, 1966 and 1972 English indoor champion over 60 yards and 60 meters.
Today Barrie Kelly works as a wildlife and landscape photographer.
