Jason Livingston

Jason Livingston (born March 17, 1971 in the London Borough of Croydon ) is a former British sprinter .

In 1990 he was sixth over 60 meters at the European Indoor Championships in Glasgow and Vice Junior World Champion over 100 meters . At the 1991 World Championships in Tokyo , he was eliminated over 100 meters in the preliminary run.

In 1992 he won gold over 60 meters at the European Indoor Championships in Genoa and was appointed to the British Olympic selection. Shortly before the games, he was tested positive for metandienone in a training doping control on July 15, 1992 , suspended and expelled from the Olympic village. His lawsuit against the subsequent four-year ban for this violation of the doping regulations failed the following year when he admitted to taking a dietary supplement that contained this substance without his knowledge.

At the World Indoor Championships in Maebashi in 1999 , he was seventh over 60 meters.
