Marc Blume (born December 28, 1973 in Lüdinghausen , Coesfeld district , Germany ) is a former German athlete from TV Wattenscheid 01 Athletics , who was one of the best sprinters in Germany as early as the 1990s.

In collaboration with his trainer Ronald Stein , Marc Blume has won two medals at European level. In 1996 he was European indoor champion over 60 meters and in 2002 he won the bronze medal with the 4 x 100 meter relay at the European Championships in Munich. However, it was not handed over to him and his teammates, as the title win was not revoked until 2006 by Dwain Chambers' doping confession and the German relay moved up to third place. In 2007, Blume ended his long career to take up a position as a junior coach at his hometown club TV Wattenscheid.

Marc Blume was 1.80 m tall and weighed 75 kg. Blume is an office clerk , trained at the Steilmann company, whose boss Klaus Steilmann, as a patron of TV Wattenscheid 01, repeatedly provided the club with athletic positions (training is guaranteed). Marc Blume's twin brother Holger was also a sprinter in Wattenscheid, but never came close to his brother's performance.
