Holger Blume

Holger Blume (* 28 December 1973 in Lüdinghausen ) is a former German athlete , who on the Sprint specialized.

In 1992, Blume became German indoor youth champion in the 200-meter run and took part in the Junior World Championships in Seoul. The following year he won his first adult championship with the 4 x 100 meter relay of TV Wattenscheid . Further titles with the Wattenscheider relay followed in 1995, 1996, 1997, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006. Marc Blume - Holger Blume's twin brother - who was usually the faster of the two runners, was involved in all victories . Holger Blume won national individual titles in 1999 in the 100-meter run and in the hall over 200 meters in 2000 and 2001.

Internationally, Blume started at the World Indoor Championships in Barcelona in 1995 , the European Indoor Championships in Stockholm in 1996 , the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, the 1999 World Championships in Seville and the European Indoor Championships in Ghent in 2000 .
