Nikolai Wassiljewitsch Kolesnikow
Nikolai Wassiljewitsch Kolesnikow ( Russian: Николай Васильевич Колесников , English transcription Nikolay Kolesnikov ; born September 8, 1953 in Kargaly, Almaty , Kazakh SSR ) is a former Soviet sprinter .
At the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal , he reached the semi-finals over 200 meters . In the 4 x 100 meter relay , he won bronze with the Soviet team.
In 1978 he won the European Indoor Championships over 60 meters . At the European Championships in Prague he finished seventh over 100 meters and won bronze with the Soviet quartet.
He was three times Soviet indoor champion over 60 meters (1977-1979) and once over 100 meters (1978).
