Jiří Kynos
Jiří Kynos (born March 24, 1943 in Třebechovice pod Orebem ) is a former Czechoslovak sprinter .
At the European Championships in Budapest in 1966 he was seventh in the 4 x 100 meter relay and was eliminated over 200 meters in the run. At the European Indoor Games in 1967 in Prague , he was the first runner of the Czechoslovak team to win bronze in the 1500 meter relay.
In 1969 he won bronze in the 4 x 100 meter relay at the European Championships in Piraeus and was fifth over 200 meters.
At the European Championships in Helsinki in 1971 he won together with Ladislav Kříž , Juraj Demeč and Luděk Bohman in the 4 x 100 meter relay and reached the semifinals over 200 meters.
In 1972 he was fourth in the 4 x 100 meter relay at the Olympic Games in Munich and reached the semi-finals over 200 meters . 1974 followed at the European Championships in Rome an eighth place in the relay and a preliminary round over 200 meters.
