Gérard Fenouil (born July 23, 1945 in Paris ) is a former French sprinter .

In 1964 he won the title in the 200-meter run at the unofficial first Junior European Championships in Warsaw. At the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico City , he competed in the 100-meter run , in which he reached the semi-finals, and in the 4-by-100-meter relay . The French relay team brought Gérard Fenouil, Jocelyn Delecour , Claude Piquemal and Roger Bambuck the bronze medal behind the teams from the United States and Cuba in 38.43 seconds .

At the European Championships in Athens in 1969 , Fenouil won the title in the 4 x 100 meter relay together with Alain Sarteur , Patrick Bourbeillon and François Saint-Gilles in 38.8 seconds. Over 100 meters he reached fourth place in Athens. In the same year Fenouil became French champion in the 100 and 200 meters. Two more national titles over 200 meters followed in the next two years.

At the European Championships in Helsinki in 1971 , he was seventh over 200 meters. He also took seventh place in the 4 x 100 meter relay at the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich .

Gérard Fenouil is 1.77 m tall and weighed 72 kg during his playing days. He started for AC Paris.
