Anatoly Dowhal
Anatolij Iwanowytsch Dowhal ( Ukrainian Анатолій Іванович Довгаль , English transcription Anatoliy Dovhal ; born January 29, 1976 in Lubny ) is a Ukrainian sprinter .
In 1999 he won gold over 100 meters at the World Military Games . The following year he was eliminated from the Olympic Games in Sydney over the same distance in the preliminary run.
In 2002 he won bronze over 60 meters at the European Indoor Championships in Vienna . At the European Championships in Munich , he reached the semi-finals over 100 meters and was part of the Ukrainian team that won gold in the 4 x 100 meter relay after the British relay was disqualified.
At the European Championships in Gothenburg in 2006 , he came back over 100 meters to the semi-finals.
He was national champion over 100 meters five times (1998, 2001, 2004-2006) and once over 200 meters (2001).
