Juraj Demeč

Juraj Demeč (born January 29, 1945 in Uzhhorod ) is a former Czechoslovak sprinter .

In 1966 he came in second place at the European Indoor Games in Dortmund in the 4-by-320-meter relay and was eliminated at the European Championships in Budapest over 100 meters in advance.

At the European Championships in Helsinki in 1971 , he won together with Ladislav Kříž , Jiří Kynos and Luděk Bohman in the 4 x 100 meter relay. He failed over 100 meters in the first lap.

In 1972 he came in fourth place in the 4 x 100 meter relay at the Olympic Games in Munich and was eliminated over 100 meters in the preliminary run.

1974 followed at the European Championships in Rome an eighth place in the relay and another preliminary round over 100 meters.

He set his personal best of 10.1 s on August 18, 1972 in Prague .
