Sergei Vladimirovich Sokolov
Sergei Wladimirowitsch Sokolow ( Russian Сергей Владимирович Соколов , English transcription Sergey Sokolov; born March 29, 1962 ) is a former Soviet sprinter .
In 1982 he won the European Championships in Athens together with Alexander Aksinin , Andrei Prokofjew and Nikolai Sidorow in the 4 x 100 meter relay and was eighth over 200 meters .
At the World Championships in Helsinki in 1983 , he reached the semi-finals over 200 meters.
