Hans-Jürgen Felsen

Hans-Jürgen Felsen (born January 30, 1940 in Beuthen (Upper Silesia) ) is a former German athlete who - starting for the Federal Republic - won the bronze medal at the European Championships in 1966 with the German 4 x 100 meter relay (39 , 8 s: Hans-Jürgen Felsen, Gert Metz , Dieter Enderlein , Manfred Knickenberg ). In the 100-meter run of these European championships, he was eliminated in the intermediate run. In total, Felsen started six times in the national jersey from 1964 to 1966.

During his engineering studies, Felsen competed at four summer universities from 1961 to 1967 . In 1961 he won the bronze medal with the sprint relay, in 1965 in Budapest he won together with Fritz Obersiebrasse , Gert Metz and Rudolf Sundermann.

From 1965 to 1967, Hans-Jürgen Felsen was German champion of the Federal Republic in the 4 x 100 meter run with the relay of SV Salamander Kornwestheim .

Hans-Jürgen Felsen began his sporting career at TSG Giengen , in 1961 and 1962 he started for Kickers Stuttgart , after which he belonged to the sports club Salamander Kornwestheim. During his competition time he was 1.78 m tall and 70 kg.
