Fritz Obersiebrasse

Fritz Obersiebrasse (born November 30, 1940 in Bielefeld ) is a former German athlete who wore the national jersey at ten events from 1963 to 1965.

Career

In 1963 Obersiebrasse took third place in the German championships in the 100-meter run behind Alfred Hebauf and Dieter Enderlein , the 4 x 100-meter relay of ASV Köln won in the line-up of Klaus Ulonska , Jürgen Schüttler and Brinks. 1964 won Manfred Germar , Jürgen Schüttler, John Smith and Fritz Obersiebrasse in the relay, Obersiebrasse finished fourth in the 100 meters and third place over 200 meters. In qualifying for the all-German team at the 1964 Olympic Games , three runners from the Federal Republic qualified in the 100-meter run, the sprint relay came from the GDR. Obersiebrasse reached the semi-finals over 100 meters after he had increased his personal best to 10.44 s as third in the first intermediate run. At the German Championships in 1965 , Obersiebrasse finished second in the 100-meter run behind Manfred Knickenberg . At the Summer Universiade in Budapest in 1965, the future economist won the 4 x 100 meter relay together with Gert Metz , Hans-Jürgen Felsen and Rudolf Sundermann.

Obersiebrasse started until 1960 for the TV Gadderbaum and 1961 for the Post-SV Munich . From 1962 to 1965 he played for ASV Köln and in 1966 moved to SV Bayer 04 Leverkusen . When he competed, he was 1.84 m tall and weighed 83 kg.
