The men's 400-meter hurdles at the 1958 European Athletics Championships was held from August 20-22, 1958 in the Stockholm Olympic Stadium.

The European champion was the Soviet European record holder Yuri Litujew . He won before the Swede Per-Owe Trollsås. Bronze went to the Swiss Bruno Galliker .
