The 400-meter hurdles of the men at the 2010 European Athletics Championships was to 31 July 2010 at the 28th Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys the city of Barcelona held.
The British hurdlers achieved a double victory in this competition . European champion was David Greene . The European Championship third from 2006 Rhys Williams won the silver medal. Bronze went to the Ukrainian Stanislaw Melnykow .

The Briton David Greene clearly won by more than eight tenths of a second over his compatriot Rhys Williams. The Ukrainian Stanislaw Melnykow won the bronze medal, defending champion Periklis Iakovakis from Greece had to be content with fifth place.
