The women's triple jump at the European Athletics Championships 2010 was held on July 29 and 31, 2010 in the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys in the city of Barcelona .

The European champion was the Ukrainian Olha Saladucha . Second place went to the Italian Simona La Mantia . The Belgian Svetlana Bolshakova won the bronze medal.

doping

The Greek Athanasía Pérra , who initially took tenth place, was subsequently convicted of doping and disqualified.

This put the Ukrainian Lilija Kulyk at a disadvantage, who was denied the right to participate in the finals, which she had won over her distance.

July 29, 2010, 12:20 pm

24 participants competed in two groups for the qualification round. The qualification distance for the direct entry into the final was 14.20 m. Nine athletes exceeded this mark (highlighted in light blue), including Athanasía Pérra, who was later disqualified for doping abuse. The final field was filled with the three athletes placed next to twelve jumpers (highlighted in light green). So finally 14.07 m had to be achieved to take part in the finals.
