Svetlana Bolshakova
Svetlana Bolshakova ( Russian Светлана Александровна Большакова , Swetlana Alexandrowna Bolshakowa ; born October 14, 1984 in Leningrad, today's Saint Petersburg ) is a Belgian three-jumper of Russian origin. She married the Belgian high jumper Stijn Stroobants in 2006 and took Belgian citizenship in 2008. She is 1.76 meters tall.
Bolshakova competed for Russia until November 13, 2008. As a teenager, she won the World Youth Championships and the bronze medal at the European Junior Championships in 2001.
She took part in the 2009 World Championships , but where she did not reach the final. She won bronze at the 2010 European Championships . Here she also jumped her personal best of 14.55 m.
