The women's triple jump at the 2012 European Athletics Championships was held on June 27 and 29, 2012 in the Olympic Stadium in the Finnish capital Helsinki .

The reigning world champion and defending champion Olha Saladucha from Ukraine became the European champion . Second place went to the Portuguese Patrícia Mamona . The Russian Jana Borodina won the bronze medal.

25 participants competed in two groups for the qualification round. The qualification distance for the direct entry into the final was 14.20 m. Nine athletes exceeded this mark (highlighted in light blue). The final field was filled with the three athletes placed next to twelve jumpers (highlighted in light green). So finally 14.08 m had to be achieved for the final.
