The men's 10,000-meter run at the 2012 European Athletics Championships was held on June 30, 2012 in the Olympic Stadium in the Finnish capital Helsinki .
The European champion was the native Kenyan Polat Kemboi Arıkan , who started for Turkey , three days later third over 5000 meters . He won Daniele Meucci before the Italian European Championship third in 2010 . Bronze went to the Russian Evgeny Rybakov .

The Portuguese José Rocha , who had ended the race prematurely, was convicted of the doping rule violation on December 11, 2012 and suspended for two years. His result at the European Championships was canceled.
