The men's 10,000-meter run at the 1962 European Athletics Championships was held on September 12, 1962 in Belgrade's Partizan Stadium .

The European champion was the 1960 Olympic champion and world record holder Pyotr Bolotnikow from the USSR. He won ahead of the GDR runner Friedrich Janke . The Briton Roy Fowler won the bronze medal.
